The guest is Union College men's lacrosse coach Derek Witheford, a former lacrosse star himself at Union. Witheford is returning for his fourth season as the head coach of the team and 11th season overall on the sidelines of his alma mater in 2023, having taken the storied program to new heights in just a few short years at the helm.

New York Riptide General Manager Rich Lisk joins the show to talk about the excitement and success of box lacrosse.

Sean Woods was hired as head coach of the Amherst College men's lacrosse program in 2022. Woods guided the Colorado College program through the most successful era in its 50-plus-year history. Capturing four conference championship titles in 10 years (2013, 2014, 2019, 2021), his teams compiled an 109-42 overall record (a .722 winning percentage) and a perfect 20-0 league mark in four seasons.

Tucker Sampson graduated from Yarmouth High School (ME) in 2008 where he was a member of the soccer, basketball, and lacrosse teams. He graduated from Nazareth College in 2012 and captained the lacrosse team his senior year. During his time at Nazareth, he won an Empire 8 championship and participated in two NCAA tournaments. Tucker has spent time as an assistant coach at Phillips Andover (2013-2017) and most recently Governor’s Academy (2018-2021). Tucker also helped start the New England Twisters in 2014 and is their Program Coordinator.

Peter Toner is in his second season as Gettysburg College head men's lacrosse coach in 2023. In his debut campaign on the sidelines, Toner guided the Bullets to a 14-8 overall record and 6-2 mark in conference play, advancing to the Centennial Conference championship game.

Scott Hackett-Dalgliesh was named head men's lacrosse coach at RPI in August of 2018. He joined the Rensselaer staff from Dartmouth College, where he was an assistant from 2015-18.

Chris Panos was named head coach of the Queens men’s lacrosse team in the summer of 2018 after serving as an assistant coach for the Royals for two years. In 2022 the Royals went 12-5 on the season to finish with a 7-3 league record.
